Under administrative direction, this position will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage the Departments specialized foster care services program.
The position will oversee a team of child welfare staff who monitor agency compliance with Agency Performance and Monitoring executive procedures and the Specialized Care Plan.
The position will also establish priorities for the expansion, development, and implementation of new and existing services and provide statewide guidance regarding foster care services.
Additionally, this position will develop and implement statewide training initiatives regarding specialized foster care services for staff, families, and children and provide input into statewide program planning for policy and practice regarding permanency.

Job Responsibilities1.Serves as Statewide Foster Care Service Manager.2.Develops, implements, and monitors policies, programs, and procedures related to specialized foster care.
3.Serves as working supervisor for a statewide team.4.Provides oversight and coordination of the monthly programmatic Agency Performance and Monitoring Execution (APME) meetings and approves monthly monitoring reports related to program compliance.
5.Collaborates with purchase of service agencies and other Departmental divisions to build the capacity of community-based placements and agency providers to minimize youth casework disruptions, minimize the length of time in placement, and increase permanency rates.
6.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
