Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY : Support the design and analysis of engineering projects. The Engineering department is in charge of developingtest equipment and technical data to create new capabilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Create projects for fabrication of test equipment.
• Review engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering artifacts to propose design modification.
• Use background knowledge to research for materials and equipment costs.
• Create technical drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of materials.
• Comply with ARINC 668.
• Assess and provide technical directions based on findings.
• Provide technical guidance as needed.
• Stay current on product technical and regulatory changes.
• Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of relevant / technical work experience OR
• or an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rulesof composition, and grammar.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
• Master’s degree
• 7+ years of electrical engineering work experience
• CAD experience (Solidworks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate and solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to work in a flexible team environment.
