ARI's Human Resources business is growing rapidly, and we're looking to add a hands on, operational Sr. HR Generalist to our team who will provide our clients with premium service across all HR areas.

The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for applying business knowledge and HR expertise to assist clients with a wide range of HR issues.

The successful candidate will provide senior-level support on matters related to recruiting, employee relations, benefits, performance management, policy and procedure creation and review, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship with clients and staff.

Job Requirements

General HR Responsibilities :

  • Advise clients on HR best practices and ensure legal compliance.
  • Facilitate the work of the HR team; handle escalated issues, coach and train team members, and coordinate workload.
  • Help clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs, and practices into their daily operations.
  • Create and draft policies and procedures that are compliant with federal, state and local laws.
  • Remain current on new and forthcoming legislation for each state in which clients operate.
  • Lead and deliver assigned HR client projects within assigned budget and timeframes.
  • Develop and implement Performance Management practices, policies, processes and documentation in accordance with client requirements and advise clients on best practice.
  • Provide advice on disciplinary issues, draft supporting documentation and advise on appropriate outcomes.
  • Travel to local client locations as required.

Qualifications and Skills / Experience

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of HR consulting and / or generalist experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, current legal regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems; iSolved experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines and budget parameters.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
