Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Waukegan, IL, supporting a diverse K-12 student population. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services onsite within a school setting throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and licensed to practice in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse communication needs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with educational and clinical regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish essential to support bilingual student needs.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Location : Onsite position located in Waukegan, Illinois.
