DevSecOps Engineer I

We seek a DevSecOps Engineer to support a client in Arlington, Virginia .

Seeking DevOps Engineer with strong experience with automation, infrastructure and application management, Kubernetes, and AWS, who will be part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and delivers enterprise solutions.

Ideal Candidate Is

• Someone with experience with AWS
• Someone with experience with networking, infrastructure, database engineering or operations.
• Someone who is passionate about the concept of infrastructure as code, and can leverage tools to define, build and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud.
• Someone with an understanding of CI / CD and experience using related tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
• Someone with an understanding of automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevSecOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments.
• Someone who believes in solving challenges as a team.
• Someone who believes in exploring alternatives and quickly build, prototyping to validate ideas and help iterate concepts.
• Someone who understands and believes in the core tenets of agile.
• Someone willing to learn new technologies and methodologies to support their job duties and teammates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related field
• 2+ years of experience with system design, architecture, process flows for large systems.
• 1+ years Hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environment.
• Experience working with Git.
• Experience with cloud-based CI / CD and CM tools
• Strong experience working with Linux.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline and automate manual tasks and processes.
• Familiarity with containerization including Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies and experience working within an Agile team.
• US Citizenship

Public Trust Clearance

This role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.
