Job Summary
The Senior Internal Consultant supports the Office of Strategy in the overall development of the institution’s strategic plan from the development / refinement phase through engagement of multitude of stakeholders and final approval by the Board.
The scope of work and responsibility includes interpretation of key financial and statistical data and relevant application to organization’s strategic priorities.
Additionally, the candidate will simultaneously lead multiple strategic and business planning projects and transition timely implementation to the operating team at CHOC.
Will interact directly with physician and administrative leaders across the enterprise and will often serve as the facilitator / expert who guides a project through completion.
Pay Range
Minimum $118,979 Midpoint $157,656 Maximum $196,354
Experience
Required : Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a strategic planning role in a healthcare or consulting environment.
Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience leading strategic planning process for a large organization.
Preferred : Demonstrated successful experience leading complex change management in an organizational setting. Proven record of project completion through use of methodologies, including project and time management, team development and status reporting.
Education
Required : Master's degree in Business Administration, or Master's in Healthcare Administration.
Training
- Required : None required.
- Preferred : Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen experience.
Specialized Skills
Required : Excellent analytical skills. Experience interfacing with leaders at all levels. Must have strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft products : Excel, Word and Power Point. Proven organizational skills with ability to plan time effectively, balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Maturity, good judgment, trustworthiness and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Must have commitment to customer service excellence.
Licensure
- Required : None required.
- Preferred : Project Management Prof (PMP).
