Onward Play is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Technical Mission Designer to join our dynamic video game studio clients.
As a Technical Mission Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating immersive and engaging gameplay experiences using Unreal Engine.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and optimize complex missions, quests, and level-based content in our games.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with the design, art, and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop compelling mission designs that align with the game's vision and mechanics.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of mission design principles, level scripting, and gameplay mechanics to create exciting and challenging missions that enhance player engagement.
- Implement missions and quests using Unreal Engine's blueprint system, ensuring proper functionality, balancing, and pacing.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mission design for video games, with at least 2 years of experience using Unreal Engine.
- Strong proficiency in mission design tools, systems, and methodologies, with a deep understanding of gameplay mechanics and level design principles.
- Unreal Engine's blueprint system and scripting languages.
- Proven ability to design and implement engaging and memorable missions that provide a challenging and satisfying player experience.
