In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, screening, and qualifying potential candidates for employment.
You will also be responsible for building relationships with local companies for the referral of well-matched, qualified talent.
Responsibilities
- Regularly partners with hiring managers and other appropriate managers to anticipate and plan for staffing needs in advance of required start date.
- Sources candidates through cold calling, social media, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues.
- Generates and maintains job postings from client provided job descriptions. Determines effective advertising mediums; places appropriate advertisements.
- Pre-screens, interviews, assesses, and hires top-quality candidates.
- Ensures job applicants meet all hiring criteria as specified by the client company.
- Provides detailed information to job seekers regarding the length of employment, schedules, job descriptions, benefits, compensation, and employer expectations.
- Makes recommendations regarding recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Manages relationships with external agencies and vendors who advertise and promote targeted jobs.
- Develops and maintains relationships with colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required : Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software; Human Resource Systems; Word Processing Software; Electronic Mail Software;
Social Media Platforms
- Other skills required : Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
- Ability to organize skills assessment centers
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and New Hire Onboarding Systems (NHO)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Employee Information Systems (EIS)
- Experience in recruiting and staffing
