Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager for Enterprise Applications is responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight of the Technology Services Roadmap in a regulated medical diagnostic startup.
This role focuses on Business Technologies supporting Finance, Legal, HR, Facilities, PR, and Investor Relations functions, requiring a strong technical background combined with project management expertise in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution :
Develop and manage the intake, prioritization, and delivery of the Technology Services Roadmap, aligning with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead complex IT infrastructure and operational projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, objectives, and timelines.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Technical Leadership and Delivery :
Provide technical oversight for Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to plan and schedule application development and enhancement projects.
Ensure adherence to best practices in business applications, information management, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication :
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including IT teams, regulatory compliance experts, and executive leadership.
Communicate project status, progress, and technical details through regular updates and presentations.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance :
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement robust quality assurance processes for IT infrastructure and operational systems.
Resource Management and Vendor Relations :
Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and third-party vendors.
Manage relationships with vendors / consultants and oversee integrations for enterprise applications.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation :
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT project management.
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in FDA-regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of ERP or CRM systems, with Oracle CRM experience a plus.
Expertise in G&A technologies including NetSuite, DocuSign, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Atlassian Confluence.
Proficiency in agile project management methodologies and tools.
Expert knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance requirements for IT systems.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise application delivery teams.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
Additional Requirements
