Our locally recognized end client is in need of a Civil Transmission Design Engineer for a 6-month CONTRACT opportunity.
This position requires the ability to work onsite, 40 hours per week, first shift and pays a MAX of $52.50 / hr W2.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Providing comprehensive civil / structural engineering design services for substation and / or transmission facilities and ensuring that these facilities are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations.

What You Need to Bring to the Table :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school and one to four years industry experience REQUIRED.
- Utility knowledge in the areas of civil, structural and / or transmission engineering design REQUIRED. Electrical utility experience HIGHLY DESIRED.
- Previous experience using PCs, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and software for structural steel design, foundation design, transmission line design, hydrology and hydraulics REQUIRED.
