Our client, a precision metal shop, has an immediate need for an experienced Machine Shop Estimator , to join our winning team in Kaukauna.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare cost estimates for part manufacturing in a Machine Shop environment.
- Analyze blueprints to prepare cost, material and labor estimates.
- Create accurate quotes within our Jobboss system, ensure quotes are submitted in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain professional / respectful relationships with others. Be able to communicate effectively.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- 3+ years of experience in estimating parts in a machine shop environment.
- Extensive machining background.
- Jobboss and Mastercam experience helpful not a must.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and solid models.
- Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Analytical, communication and organizational skills.
