Immediate Opening - Product Configuration Specialist
$19 - $22 / hour
H ours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm
Staffworks is seeking an experienced Product Configuration Specialist to join our team!

Product Configuration Specialist Essential Job Functions :
- Analyze and interpret customer produced engineering documentation to create part numbers and bills of material
- Exercise effective organizational and work management skills to produce multiple unique part numbers under time-sensitive conditions
- Access, navigate, research and enter data using various systems and software, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and the enterprise resource planning system
- Research, establish and maintain solutions based upon drawings, blueprint reading, customer data specifications, and / or special engineering product requests, as it relates to bills of material structuring, customer parts and costing
- Accurately perform mathematical calculations using basic math functions, unit of measure conversions, and geometry
- Ensure work is accurate and well-documented according to all quality management system standards
- Collaborate with various departments, including sales, engineering and quality to provide / obtain information and / or evaluation
- Attend training as needed or assigned
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in technical area preferred
- 2 years of experience in a diverse process manufacturing environment
- 2 years of experience in product configuration, mechanical drawing interpretation
- Proficient at intermediate math applications
- PC proficient, intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
