Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Sr ERP Project Manager

NOTE- THIS IS LARGELY REMOTE ROLE & ONLY W2 CANDIDATES / NO C2C / 1099

Location : San Francisco CA 94104 HYBRID (onsite approx 1-2 days / month-depending on project needs)

Duration : 6 -12 Months + Strong Possibility of Extension

The manager is looking for an experience Project Manager that has experience implementing Oracle Cloud HCM & SCM within either academic healthcare or hospital.

We are still defining large implementation experience as 30k+ end users and $100 million in project budget, however, we would still like to see candidates that have a strong background implementing Oracle Cloud HCM & SCM if those numbers don't quite meet those figures

Involves managing technical projects having a defined beginning and end. Manages the project's framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams.

Plans, coordinates and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables.

Monitors the project from initiation through completion. Organizes and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects.

• The Project Manager applies advanced technical project management frameworks and methods in conjunction with Campus and Health objectives to plan and execute enterprise administrative application domains (Finance, HR, Student Systems, Supply Chain and Research) projects.
• Project Manager is an experienced technical / functional professional who can resolve highly complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Project Manager determines methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results and manages projects of broad and diverse scope, size, impact, budget, and / or project team size with considerable effect on the organization.

Project Manager will manage portions of the project lifecycle of a significant re-implementation of our ERP ecosystem, from project definition through implementation and post-implementation support.

The scope of this project includes the transition to the new ERP platform itself as well as the associated development of required custom functionality, reporting, interfaces, and other applications and middleware to replace previous customizations and other end-of-life business systems that comprise the enterprise systems environment.

The person in this role will be accountable for ensuring the project meets agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.

Under direction from the VP of Enterprise Applications (or delegate), provides leadership on the full workstream for the ERP project related to the design, development, and implementation.

Documents and escalates project risks and issues for mitigation.

• Within diverse cross-functional teams focused on the ERP projects, uses an inclusive, team-based approach to develop and coordinate detailed project plans, establish milestones and timelines, enforce project deadlines and schedules, and monitor budget and resource requirements, with the goal of completing the projects to the highest quality, on schedule and within budget.
• Applies current IT Project Management Office standards and procedures to the ERP projects, liaises, communicates and builds partnerships within IT and the broader community to plan and execute ERP projects, with overall project management responsibility for these efforts from initiation to completion.
• Gathers, analyzes and synthesizes complex data and information in reports, presentations and other formats to communicate project details, status, results and lessons learned to IT leadership as well as to departmental stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience managing projects in Enterprise Applications.
• Previous leadership of at least one company wide ERP implementation or similar large scale, multi-year cross functional systems integration and project implementation (in a health care setting is preferred).
• Experience / knowledge of major ERP and HCM platforms (e.g. Oracle, Workday).
• Ability to understand and work with complex and challenging business processes and technical environments.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative manner in order to achieve results that are significant in scope.
• Exposure to managing projects with infrastructure / hosting / cloud platform elements.
• Strong knowledge of definitions and uses of data, financial and reporting systems, information flow, and data architecture.

Competency in query functions and language, and basic data modeling.

• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of computing and communications including hardware infrastructure, networking, software, operations and disaster recovery.
• Education & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Professional Project Management (PMP) or 8++ years of relevant project management experience. (Required)
• Certified Scrum Master(CSM) ( Preferred)
