Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.
In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
Act as a checker to handle the loan redemption requests for different corporate loan products (, OD, Trade Loan, Premium Financing Loan etc.
Provide loan settlement amount and prepare redemption letters to solicitors for preparing release / discharge of mortgage / charge.
- Collect redemption money from Customer / Solicitor / Insurance Company, handle loan repayment, process discharge / release documents and cancellation of credit facility limit.
- Handle and respond to inquiries / requests from internal / external partners / customers on service and loan processing of related matters.
- Support any initiatives, UAT, new services, ad-hoc tasks and perform coordinator role as designated. (, PC coordinator, housekeeping coordinator, etc)
Requirements
- Degree holder, or post-secondary education with 5 years working experience where at least 2 years in checker role.
- Good knowledge and experience of loan operations especially in loan redemption.
- Good knowledge of Corporate Loan Product.
- Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Good senses of risk control and management.
- Self-motivated with good analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player, supportive and flexible to take up departmental tasks.
- Good PC knowledge and skills such as MS Word, Excel and Access.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Junior role.
