Leapros Skilled Trades is a trusted workforce solutions partner within the construction industry and is currently seeking experienced Data Center Installation Technicians for various local structured cabling positions throughout the Columbus, OH area (multiple positions & overtime available!).
We are partnered with one of the nation’s leading telecommunications and structured cabling companies and have opportunities available for technicians of all skill sets! Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your career, we welcome candidates of all skill levels.
Responsibilities :
- Install support structures, such as cable trays and conduit, for efficient cable routing
- Pull and route low-voltage cabling, including CAT 5 / 6, coaxial, fiber optics, and more.
- Terminate cable and distribution frames, ensuring proper connections and signal transmission.
- Troubleshoot cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, including fellow technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
- Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in structured cabling and telecommunications installation is a plus but not required. We welcome candidates at all skill levels
- Fiber splicing and termination is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of universal color codes for cable identification and labeling
- Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, TIA, BICSI, or NEC is not required, however, preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Outside Plant (OSP) experience is a plus

Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $20.00 - $40.00+ per hour BOE
