Location : Missouri City, TX 77489
Type of Position : Direct Hire
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the operation of manual machines, Bullard VTL, Horizontal Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, Radial Arm Drill; machine a variety of valves and valve products.
- Consistently ensure safe work practices.
- Effectively communicate with department supervisors.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.
- Inspect parts, visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements.
- Troubleshoot and correct problems in a timely manner.
- Ensure WOs are charged with time to complete tasks for production.
- Ensure production targets are met hourly, daily, monthly, and annually.
- Responsible for crane and forklift operation.
- Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and work with management to implement on an ongoing basis.
- Interact and maintain a positive working relationship with the team.
- Comply with all processes and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO / API requirements.
- Complete any and all tasks assigned by Management to achieve the company goals.
Requirements :
- High school diploma / GED
- 8-10+ years of manual machining experience preferred
