The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and strategic implementation of all HR functions within the organization. This role plays a key part in driving HR initiatives that support organizational goals, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops talent while maintaining compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Essential Functions

- HR Strategy & Policy Development : Design, implement, and manage comprehensive HR policies and procedures that promote an inclusive and compliant work environment. Ensure these policies align with business objectives and promote a positive employee experience.
- Department Leadership & Goal Setting : Lead the HR department, developing goals and objectives that contribute to the company's strategic plans. Manage day-to-day operations and continuously evaluate HR processes for improvements.
- Compensation & Benefits Management : Administer the company's compensation program, conducting regular salary reviews, updating job descriptions, and maintaining competitive compensation structures. Manage benefits administration, including claims resolution, policy updates, and annual cost reviews.
- Performance Management : Oversee the performance evaluation program, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and employee development. Make necessary revisions to ensure the system effectively drives performance and engagement.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition : Lead recruitment efforts for all exempt, nonexempt, and temporary positions. Write and place job advertisements, screen candidates, conduct interviews, perform reference checks, and extend job offers. Oversee the onboarding process, including new-employee orientations.
- Employee Relations & Development : Provide guidance on employee relations matters, career development, and performance improvement plans. Conduct exit interviews and use feedback to improve employee retention strategies.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping : Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including the maintenance of EEO records and affirmative action plans. File annual EEO-1 reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Payroll Administration : Process bi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws. Oversee reporting, auditing, and payroll record maintenance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Monitor HR metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to track department performance against set goals. Use insights to recommend improvements to HR practices and strategies.
- Training & Development : Organize employee training programs to promote growth, compliance, and professional development. Collaborate with leadership to ensure training aligns with business needs.

This position manages all employees in the HR department, including hiring, performance management, and professional development. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the work of the department and ensuring its alignment with company objectives.
