About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 40 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
unit does not accept first-time travelers License : Valid RN license required at time of submission; compact RN license accepted Certifications : ACLS, PALS, CNOR Must-Have : - Call required : 6 days or more per month, including 1 weekend- Floating to like units within scope, as needed- Scrubs provided Job Description : Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Participate in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and protocols.- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.- Ability to float to similar units based on facility needs.
- Complete modules during orientation as part of training requirements.
