Provides value-added services to select current and potential non-commercial customers with a focus on the healthcare and senior living sectors.
Assists in the development of regional segment business plans and provides segment expertise to the regional sales, business development and marketing support teams.
Provides relevant business solutions to complement the initiatives of our Sales and Marketing teams, with an ultimate goal of increasing the overall market share of Gordon Food Service.
Provides expertise for noncommercial customers in menu and recipe technology support, cost control, and quality improvement opportunities, including onsite operational reviews.
Interfaces and collaborates with key non-commercial customers to achieve sales and margin goals.
Ensures consistent and relevant business solutions training for non-commercial sales teams, in collaboration with other regional marketing team members.
Assists in development of an annual segment plan in support of the regional strategic goals to contribute to the attainment of the region’s sales and margin goals.
Participates in planning, coordination, and execution of food shows, sales and marketing meetings
Directs regional participation in industry events and networking, including public speaking.
Leverages Home Office content and insights to be used in the region and direct to customers, support adoption, and leverage of tools.
Performs analysis of industry trend data and creation of insights that inform business solutions that strengthen the relationship between GFS and non commercial customers.
Prepares and delivers presentations on topics of interest in non-commercial segments.
Assists in key customer business planning sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
