About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience :

Minimum of one year full-time equivalent clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

Preferred experience includes previous CT experience.

License :

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and a current State license as a Radiographer are required.

Certifications :

Advanced certification in CT is required within 18 months of hire or transfer.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.

Must-Have :

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Description :

Operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment under the direction of a radiologist.

Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.

Reviews images and archives them with associated patient data.

Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing, medical staff, patients, and visitors.

Performs other duties as assigned.
