We are currently seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a strong lean towards back-end development and expertise in Node.js.

Position Summary

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the development of high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions.

While your focus will be on back-end development, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of Node.js, you will also engage in front-end tasks, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Your role will involve working across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code with a focus on back-end development using Node.js.
• Contribute to the development of user-facing elements, integrating them with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose, advocate for, and implement solutions that will keep our tech stack modern and effective.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on back-end development, specifically with Node.js.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks / libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.

Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and server-side CSS preprocessors.

Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desired Skills

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.

Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Knowledge of code security practices and understanding of basic cryptography as it applies to software development.
