Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in strategically cultivating and overseeing client relationships, ensuring that both the organization and clients achieve optimal value from their partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Drive awareness and engagement for MasTec offerings among new and existing clients, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to analyze current and emerging trends.
- Offer strategic recommendations to the team for adapting to these dynamic market changes.
- Analyze data on potential new clients and offer strategic recommendations for engaging with them.
- Collaborate with our strategic clients to identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, and formulate development strategies.
- Support the financial, scheduling, logistics, and execution plans for projects to ensure alignment with MasTec requirements and client needs.
- Identify and share potential project opportunities within the organization while formulating strategies to effectively secure project awards.
- Remain the primary point of contact throughout all development phases, including development, bidding, and contracting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Candidates must possess 15+ years of experience within the Energy or Utility industry and additional experience across various departments within the industry is preferred .
- Possess 6+ years of Business Development experience is required .
- Candidates with experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or power generation sectors is preferred .
