PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :

This position will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our existing customers and work to expand our customer base by establishing relationships with new customers.

This position will become an internal voice of the customer and act as a liaison between the market and our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Sales and Marketing Support :

• Develop a detailed understanding of our customer needs and provide effective customer support that nurture relationships in person as well as over the telephone.
• Meet with clients and educate them on the benefits of our products and services.
• Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and ability to manage incoming calls.
• Prepare quotes for customers, receive and process customer orders.
• Verify all customer orders to assure correct product and pricing and promptly respond to customer and sales team inquiries and needs.
• Track customer activity and communicate pertinent information to Sales Reps and create and distribute sales and marketing reports.
• Responsible for supporting product marketing campaigns and the overall company brand image.
• Provide customer feedback from the market.
• Manage Limited Market Releases on any new products launched.

Administrative Support :

• Assist in the overall organization’s mission and Company’s growth goals.
• Responsible for distribution of marketing material to assure brand consistency.
• Prepare and present sales presentations in a professional manner.
• Maintain a customer database / Customer Management System (CRM).
• Manage department calendar of events, projects, tradeshows, conferences and sales events.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Outgoing and warming personality with 3-5 years business development, product management, account management and / or sales and marketing operations role (Preferably with ENT and / or Pulmonary medical device experience).
• General understanding of Medical Device / Healthcare industry - Hospital credentials
• Proficient with software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - CRM systems a plus)
• Must have strong data analysis skills and ability to clearly report such analyzed data.
• Account management, Inside and outside sales, sales administrative and marketing experience preferred

TRAINING PREFERRED :

The ideal candidate will have received formal training in any of the following areas :

Product Management, Account Management, Inside and Outside sales, Customer Service, Brand Management, Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferably in the medical device industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand;

walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. From time to time, travel is required to meet with and interact with customers.

This may include attending and exhibiting tradeshows and / or meeting with doctors and nurses at a hospital or outpatient surgery center.
