Certified Medical Assistant for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Clinic
Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4PM
Duties include :
Verify patient information, record medical history, and confirm purpose of visit
Strong computer proficiency; knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Records, scheduling
patients and Insurance verification and prior authorizations.
Observe patient status and report any changes to physician
Prepare patients for examination.
For wound care, remove dressing, prepare patient, report patient history summary
and transmit physician’s orders to VNA and pharmacies
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following
Standards and procedures, comply with legal regulations
Liaison between patients and VNA by managing phone calls and ordering supplies for patients, monitor inventory stock and place orders
