About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 06 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : License : Current RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Minimum of 10-12 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule Job Description : - Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment outcomes. - Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care and monitoring.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as needed. - Utilize and maintain radiology equipment safely and effectively.
- Document patient records accurately and in a timely manner. - Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
