Description : Industrial Engineer
Industrial Engineer
Since 1983, HTI Cybernetics® has provided intelligent manufacturing solutions that support and enhance production, including automation systems, material handling solutions, assembly tooling, and collaborative robotics.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Development of assembly processes for new projects; including plant layout, machine cycle time studies and process flow.
- Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Team to ensure accuracy of assembly processes and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs to create processes and supporting documents.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed.
Requirements :
Education / Skills Required :
- 5 + years of experience in automotive assembly machinery and tooling
- Prefer experience with plant layout and assembly processes.
- Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing.
- Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred.
- Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required.
- Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
