Job Summary
Home Center Outlet - Atlanta is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Sales & Customer Service Professional.
This position is full-time and is located in our Atlanta, Georgia store and requires excellent customer service and sales skills as well as a commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have the ability to communicate effectively and possess strong organizational and retail skills.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly position and starting salary is $17 to $19 per hour, paid bi-weekly with additional annual performance bonus and commission opportunities, as well as incredible learning opportunities.
Other benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K retirement, and paid vacation time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and build relationships with existing customers while also working to find new customers.
- Assist team members with finding and understanding products.
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of our products.
- Ensure customers’ satisfaction of their purchase in order to build customer loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide resolution, and escalate unresolved customer issues.
- Utilize technology to access customer history.
- Take responsibility of the financial performance of the retail counter and ensure the store’s policies and procedures are being followed.
- Assist in maintaining the store showroom according to company standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Prior retail or sales experience
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to work within shifts
- Exceptional customer service skills and pleasant demeanor
- Must be available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
