Responsibilities
- Thoroughly assess and diagnose communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Deliver evidence-based one-on-one therapy sessions to patients
- Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
License or Certification :
Must possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification prior to commencing employment.
Certification in CPR, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training, and Experience :
Minimum Requirement : Completion of an Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
While prior experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
