Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and implement evidence-based practices in the operating room.
- Assist the surgical team in maintaining sterility and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess and address patient needs before, during, and after surgery.
- Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist the surgical team during procedures.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Connecticut and BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
