Job Summary :
- Great working environment in a PET / CT and SPECT / CT outpatient department
- University Radiology Associates, LLP., located at 550 Harrison Center, Syracuse, .
No PET experience necessary will train
- No weekends or call
- Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET / CT and SPECT / CT outpatient department
- Calculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopes
- Instructs patients on proper exam preparation
- Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient
- Performs all required quality control procedures
- Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Preferred Qualifications :
CNMT(CT) or ARRT(CT)
Work Days :
Rotating Schedule 6am-5pm (8.5 hr shifts) / No weekend or call / Occasional overtime
