Maine Behavioral Health is actively recruiting for a Patient Financial Services Associate II role. This position is 100% remote with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 a.
m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Flexibility of hours is available once the candidate has completed training and demonstrated an understanding of the position.
Strong phone communication skills are desirable.
Position Summary
The Patient Financial Services Associate II role is responsible for specific patient accounting tasks, which include appropriate billing, training, and follow-up / denial resolution of insurance claims within filing limits to support proper account completion and closure.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License / Certifications : N / A
- Experience : One year in a related healthcare field required. Hospital or provider-based billing experience is preferred.
Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Patient Financial Services Associate I role.
