Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity at it's Lincoln NE facility for a Quality Systems Engineer. The QSE will oversee the administration of ISO standards related to document control within the plant's Quality Management System.
This position will also provide administrative duties & support to the Safety, Health & Environmental department as well as Human Resources Department.

What do you get to do in this position? Job Responsibilities Oversee the administration and document control of ISO standards related to the site's QMS (Quality Management System).
Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows). Checking for accuracy and editing files as needed. Follow and improve document control procedures.
Ensure all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards Sort, store and retrieve electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the manufacturing plant.
Conduct regular reviews and document audits to ensure document control standards are being followed. Train others on the standards required to meet requirements for Quality Management System.
Prepare, organize and distribute required quality control documents for the plant Provide administrative support and duties to the Safety, Health & Environmental department.
Perform data processing / file administration duties. Copy, scan and store document. What qualifications will make you successful?
Requires Associate degree in an engineering discipline or related field, Bachelors degree preferred 3+ years of relevant work experience (2+ years experience in document control) Understanding of ISO, ISO and ISO standards ISO Internal Audits Monthly Management Review Follow up and Manage CAPA Previous experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required Experience with SAP a plus Previous experience related to Safety, Health and Environmental areas Organizational skills with attention to detail is a must Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to understand technical writing and report generation Proficient typing and editing skills We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
