Accounting Manager (Construction)

This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing team that specializes in commercial and industrial mechanical contracting along Colorado's front range.

This hands-on role involves forecasting, automation of processes, effective with 3rd party vendors, contractors, and executive leaders to manage the financial aspects of the company's projects, managing accounts receivable (A / R) and accounts payable (A / P).

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage financial processes to improve efficiency and ensure accountability and accuracy
• Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, including general ledger, bank statements, project related accounts and oversight of 3

party vendors for A / R and A / P to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments

• Manage office tasks through effective communication with other department managers and executive leaders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations
• Conduct regular work-in-progress (WIP) reviews to monitor project status / costs, revenues, and profitability
• Prepare and present monthly reports to include financial statements, projections, performance metrics, and variance analysis, and forecasting
• Strong time and management skills

Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• years of experience in accounting and office management in the construction sector
• Experience with AICPA guidelines
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with QuickBooks for Accounting

Salary : $80,000-110,000
