1.Conduct regular vulnerability scans of systems and networks using Qualys tools to identify security weaknesses.
2.Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
3.Manage the lifecycle of vulnerabilities from detection to remediation and closure.
4.Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure effective implementation of patch management and security updates.
5.Develop and refine policies and procedures for vulnerability management to enhance the security posture of the organization.
6.Prepare and present reports on scan results and remediation progress to senior management and stakeholders.
7.Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
8. Mentor junior analysts
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
2. Two or more years of experience working within an enterprise Information / Cyber Security setting, or equivalent experience
3. Knowledge in information systems and ability to apply that knowledge in practice
4. Experience participating in IT projects
Preferred Qualifications :
1. Banking or financial services experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on vulnerability management.
- Proficient with Qualys vulnerability scanning tools or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex information from various sources.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
