Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring for TIG welders and a TIG Welder Foreman in Richmond, VA. The ideal TIG welder candidate has shop and / or field experience.
Pay is $26 - $33 per hour based on skillset and experience. If you are a TIG welder with 3+ years experience apply now!
TIG Welder Responsibilities :
- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metals
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes and materials.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including power sources, fixtures, and other related tools.
- Conduct pre-welding inspections and evaluations to ensure all materials, components, and equipment meet design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment - adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
TIG Welder Foreman Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a team of TIG welders, providing guidance on techniques and safety practices.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct training sessions for new recruits and ongoing skill development for existing staff.
- Monitor quality control and troubleshoot welding issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with project managers on scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
TIG Welder Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder (3+ years preferred) in shop and field settings.
- Strong proficiency with TIG welding techniques and a solid understanding of welding safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Valid Driver's License
- Your own reliable transportation
Schedule :
- 8 hour shift
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time
