Overview
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Installs, maintains, or repairs electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Maintains current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
- Troubleshoots electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
- Installs wiring and conduit and inspects systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Follows electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
- Understands schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Electrician License for the District of Columbia (D.C.).
- Minimum Education : High Diploma.
- Minimum Experience : Entry Level. 2-4 years of experience as an Electrician.
