We’re seeking a sharp personal injury Legal Assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys, paralegals, and case managers assist our clients and keep the office running smoothly.

Responsibilities :
- Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly
- Gather and analyze intake information and documents with new files and enter relevant information into case management software
- Set up claims and verify coverage with insurance companies and maintain communication with adjusters regarding case status
- Requesting medical records and bills and confirming medical balances
- Requesting accident reports
- Maintaining client files, including adding medical records, bills, and other pertinent documents and updating case management software
- Request and update subrogation liens
Qualifications :
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a law firm environment as a secretary or administrative assistant
- Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated
- Personal Injury experience is strongly preferred
