Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PRN
About the Job
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality medical and psychological care to patients, under the direction of a physician and in accordance with scope of practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations, to identify and address medical and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with facility guidelines.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- One or more years of experience as an RN with the patient population of the facility line of business.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license, per state regulations / requirements, and a current DEA license.
