In this role, you will lead budget analysis, financial planning, and forecasting efforts for multiple government contracts.
With your deep understanding of the government budget process, you will work closely with program managers, finance teams, and government clients to ensure effective budget management and compliance with federal regulations.
We are seeking a talented individual who can develop and manage comprehensive budget plans, analyze and interpret government budget documents, and provide expert guidance on government budget processes and regulations.
Your financial analysis skills and ability to develop and maintain complex financial models will be crucial in supporting budget analysis and forecasting.
Moreover, your exceptional communication skills will be essential in effectively liaising with government clients, program managers, and finance team members.
Responsibilities :
- Lead budget analysis, financial planning, and forecasting efforts for multiple government contracts.
- Develop and manage comprehensive budget plans, including budget formulation, justification, and execution.
- Analyze and interpret government budget documents, providing expert guidance on government budget processes, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements :
- 6+ years of experience in government budget analysis or financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and financial management software.
- Experience in working, managing, and manipulating large datasets in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or Certified Budget Analyst (CBA) certification.
- Experience working with federal health and research agencies, such as NIH, CDC, FDA, and others.
