AWS Marketplace is building a set of APIs and experiences that will allow builders, ISVs, and partners to create experiences that enable customers to discover, subscribe to, and use AWS Marketplace products everywhere.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Please note that this position can be based out of Seattle only.

Key job responsibilities

The AWS Marketplace team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical for the AWS Marketplace Foundational API organization. In this role, you’ll :

  • Lead product requirements, define features, and work closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver those features, including leading go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to drive a long-term plan for how sellers and buyers manage entitlements to software, data, and services across AWS Marketplace.
  • Own a set of public APIs that allow customers to manage, and programmatically distribute their entitlements.
  • Unlock opportunities to streamline the procurement process so that customers can transact as simply as possible.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels within the company, both in writing and in meetings.
  • Engage new and existing buyers, sellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams to improve our customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who understands that billions in sales for AWS Marketplace is just the beginning, and that a strong set of APIs for ISVs and partners to build on will unlock the next stage of our growth.
