Physician - Pediatric Nocturnist - Mercy Children's Hospital - St. Louis, Missouri

Mercy Children's Hospital is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Nocturnist to join our dedicated team delivering in-patient services in St.

Louis, Missouri. Our Pediatric Hospitalist team consists of 9 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

Mercy Children's Hospital St. Louis : 23,000 pediatric emergency visits annually in our modern12-bed unit. 175 pediatric providers on staff with over 80 fellowship trained pediatric specialists.

Over 165 beds in our children’s tower, including pediatrics, PICU, Level III NICU and behavioral health units. 24-hour in-house neonatology and pediatric hospitalist coverage.

Active child life program in our hospital & pediatric emergency department. Educational program for University of Missouri medical students.

Member of Children’s Hospital Association. System-wide Epic EMR. We have a strong nurse practitioner program to help see patients in the newborn nursery and behavioral health.

This Position Offers : Full time benefits working only 10 shifts per month! Attractive block schedules of five nights on / ten nights off with some flexibility Hospitalist will see patients on Pediatric Floor, Newborn Nursery & Behavioral Health Unit Providing clinical services at one hospital Family friendly and oriented activities Seamless transition of care from one team to the next focused on quality patient care, reduced lengths of stay and comprehensive care plan Opportunity to pick up additional shifts!
