Senior Construction Estimator
A company is looking for a Senior Construction Estimator to perform estimating activities for various project types and delivery methods.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive estimates and perform detailed reviews of project plans and specificationsUtilize HCSS estimating software for quantity takeoffs and productivity rate comparisonsCoordinate with the estimating team and solicit quotes from subcontractors and material suppliersRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimatingUnderstanding of construction contract documents, drawings, and specificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Familiarity with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid and project controls softwareExperience with CAD / 3D modeling tools is preferred
