Cinterra is looking for experienced Vacuum Truck Drivers / Operators who will drive and operate vacuum trucks to perform verification (daylighting) of existing utilities on / off road, trenchless excavation for utility construction, drill mud transport & vacuum truck support for HDD and construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Supplying a safe, effective and professional service to our clients;
- Operating vacuum trucks or trailers;
- Completing tasks associated with vacuum truck excavation, trenching and shoring;
- Ensuring the job site placement of the truck is safe, stable and secure;
- Wearing all proper PPE once you step out of the truck
- Cleaning the truck upon completion of the job;
- Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis.
Job Requirements & Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement is required;
- Minimum 6 months of hydrovac experience is required, 1 year is preferred;
- Experience with Vactor, Super Products and GAPVAX and Vermeer vac trailers / trucks
- Trenching and excavation experience is a plus
- Ability to travel, as needed;
- Ability to be on-call for emergency response work
