We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is a permanent position within the construction industry, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are executed in an environmentally sustainable manner.

You will be responsible for managing all environmental aspects of our construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

This position is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainable construction practices.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead the planning and implementation of project environmental strategies and initiatives.

2. Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

3. Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

4. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement environmental management plans.

5. Manage and oversee environmental remediation activities.

6. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to environmental standards and regulations.

7. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders on environmental matters.

8. Prepare and present environmental reports to management and stakeholders.

9. Provide training and support to project teams on environmental compliance and best practices.

10. Stay updated on the latest advancements in environmental sustainability and incorporate them into project planning and execution.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental project management in the construction industry.

3. Certifications in OSHA HAZWOPER required

4. PE, OG, LSP, LEP are preferred

5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software.

6. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

7. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

10. Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability.

11. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
