Qualifications
- CPR Certification
- Nationally accredited certification required in personal training and / or group fitness
- Acceptable certification include : National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Aerobic Association (AFAA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM),
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- Certificates or training in teaching group exercise classes or personal fitness
Responsibilities
The preferred candidates will be teaching a group exercise class, in the format of strength training, Saturday mornings at 8 a.
m. to a group of women who are participating in a construction job training program. The class runs from November 4 through December 1, 2024.
The class will be taught in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling
- Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned class
- Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine
- Ensure the safety and enjoyment for all in fitness classes
- Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes

Svetness Corp is seeking experienced certified group exercise instructors to lead group fitness classes. Instructors will inspire physical fitness for a group of women participating in a training program to become construction workers.
