Job Overview Job Description : Job Summary : The Fleet Vendor Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of AT&T's fleet operations through expert management of third-party repair and maintenance services.

This dynamic role involves coordinating and scheduling repair and maintenance activities, liaising between vehicle drivers, client leadership teams, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in auditing invoices, approving reasonable estimates promptly, sourcing new vendors, and evaluating the performance of all third-party vendors to uphold the highest standards of fleet operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities : Vendor Coordination and Management : Act as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, coordinating repair and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure service quality.

Evaluate vendor performance regularly to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and AT&T's standards of excellence.

Financial Oversight : Review and audit invoices for accuracy, approve cost-effective and reasonable estimates for repair and maintenance work, and manage budget allocations for third-party services to optimize cost-efficiency.

Strategic Vendor Sourcing : Proactively identify and onboard new vendors, assessing their capability, reliability, and performance to expand and enhance the network of service providers.

Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure vendors meet AT&T's strict compliance and quality standards.Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with vehicle drivers, client leadership teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of repair and maintenance activities.

Facilitate clear and effective communication to address any issues promptly and maintain high levels of service pliance and Reporting : Ensure all third-party repair and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Prepare and present reports on vendor performance, service issues, and budget utilization to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications : Proven experience in fleet maintenance management, vendor management, or a related field, preferably within a large, complex organization.

Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, especially in financial auditing and vendor performance assessment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes, as well as familiarity with automotive industry standards and compliance requirements.

Environmental Requirements : This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function.

This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
