About The Position
Job Title : Advanced Practice Provider Job Specialty : Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedics Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 9am to 5pm Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Must have a valid license Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - Licensed provider ready to start in December Job Description : - Seeking a locum tenens provider for orthopedic care, starting December.
Must be prepared to assist in the clinic and handle calls. - Expected to cover calls 8-9 times a month from 5pm to 7pm;
primarily telephone consultations. - Monday responsibilities include assisting in surgery.- Tuesday through Friday in the clinic managing patient encounters.
- This is a full-time position, and full-time availability is preferred, though flexibility is possible.- Long-term housing, if needed, must be pre-approved.
- Handle 16-20 patient encounters per shift.- Board certification is required.- The estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
Please note that candidates without a license will not be considered due to the urgency of this need.
