Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to buildings and injection molding machines and equipment as assigned.
Job Duties :
- Installs and performs preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment (closing machines, feeder bowls, etc.) as required.
- Reconditions used equipment.
- Troubleshoots hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production.
- Authorized to take out of service any machine or equipment that is deemed to be unsafe or that would further deteriorate
Education / Technical / Required Skills :
- High School
- Must be fluent in English
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Familiar with automation and vision systems.
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Similar Manufacturing Maintenance position- Minimum 5 years
Preferred Skills :
- Conversational Spanish
- Knowledge of injection molding machine functions and controls.
- Injection Molding experience - Minimum 2 years
