Responsibilities :
- Complete cycle counts and inventory checks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
- Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
- Accurately complete paperwork (Pick Tickets, Inventory Count Sheets, etc.)
- Inspect condition and quantity of received materials before placing them in the warehouse, issuing to production or shipping to customers.
- Moving materials in warehouse as needed.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Accurately pick / pull orders using system generated pick ticket.
- Read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names, item numbers, and stock location labels.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Has a basic computer knowledge.
- Moves finished product from production or assembly areas, loads transport trailer or shuttle van, or moves product to a storage location with a lift truck.
- Understanding of 5S and housekeeping.
- Ensure materials are properly secured when stored, with particular care taken with high bay racking. Including, but not limited to, ensuring stretch wrap properly applied, wrapping / banding not hanging off pallets, accurate labels are on product and pallets meet company guidelines.
- Perform inventory transactions.
- Ensure stock locations and areas are neat and organized on a daily basis.
Education : High School Diploma required
Skills and Experience : 1-2 years of Shipping / Receiving work experience. Organized and very detailed oriented is a must and the ability to operate a forklift or is willing to learn.
Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm EST, Temp position possibly to Perm.
