What You'll Do
We are currently seeking two Network Operations Engineers on our team. This assignment is a highly visible and challenging role, with responsibilities for providing technical support to internal and external customers of the NOC.
You will also be to collaborate with cross-functional peers, define process flows, develop and maintain troubleshooting documentation, and serve as a lead when the Incident Management Process is initiated.
for network troubleshooting associated with IoT Network. Based on your knowledge and experience, you’ll take appropriate action to minimize, and when possible, prevent service impacts identified via our defined monitoring tools.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Define processes to position the NOC to provide 24 / 7 monitoring support for 5G
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure needed alarming is properly defined and presented to the NOC
- Serve as lead during the execution of our defined Incident Management Process
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other staff members as needed to ensure personnel service impacts are resolved as timely as possible
- Able to actively contribute to the development and implementation of automation initiatives
- Assess, draft, and deliver Root Cause Analysis reports timely to internal and external customers
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to support internal and customer-facing continuous improvement programs that will support 5GaaS
Who You'll Work With
You’ll partner internally your NOC counterparts and cross-functional peers regularly. You will also provide direct support to Service Providers, influence others to ensure service quality, provide feedback to our Executive Leadership Team.
You will lead and at times contribute to the Incident Management Process to ensure feedback and updates are shared timely.
Who You Are :
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience executing skills in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.
- Network troubleshooting experience
Location : Atlanta, GA (Hybrid; 2-3 days on on-site)
